NRMA Insurance SurfGroms Program

Port Fairy Surf School provides high-quality, fun and supportive surf instruction for children aged 5–12 through the NRMA Insurance SurfGroms national junior development program.

Program Highlights:

Five progressive skill levels
Ocean skills, beach safety and surf awareness
Surf survival and rescue techniques
Basic first aid
Understanding surf conditions
Maximum 5 kids per coach
Professional, friendly local surf coaches
Structured lessons with a relaxed and supportive vibe

Welcome to the cold south, all ages and all types. Find a tasty table. A creative, crafty classroom. There’s music, birds and kites in the air and cuddles all round.

We are an annual winter festival run by volunteers to toast the town of Port Fairy and the locals that live here year round. Bless them.
